I'm glad to offer the first puzzles made in my own little 9* square meters workshop.
The first idea is a simple 3 x 3 x 3 cube dissected using the following set :
2 units + 3 units + 4 units + 5 units + 6 units + 7 units = 27 units = 3 x 3 x 3 cube.
The 7 units piece has only one possible position in the cube, so I decided to glue the 7 units piece to a stand in this position. With this solution, the puzzle has only one solution and required moves to be assembled and desassembled. I obtained 3 variations of "interlocking-packing-put-together" puzzles, the "Stand By Cube" series.
"Stand By Cube 3" has a opened stand and the following level : 188.8.131.52.2
This puzzle is the most "put together" of the serie, but seems to be the more puzzling ...
The cube is made with clear oak fully beveled, and only varnished (without polishing process) to keep the glossy aspect, please notice that the surface is a little bit rough and "adheres" a little, but the puzzle keep a good fitting. The stand is made with fir and externaly beveled, varnished and polished. I found a puzzling situation for the delivery. (see photos)
Size : 6cm for the cube ; 7.8cm for the stand
