The individual parts to this Stickman Gordian Knot (No. 22), lay in pieces in the Stickman shop for the last 7 years. At the time, certain issues kept it from being cost effective for Robert complete. And so it was just tossed, along with a couple of others, into a crate. I have fixed and assembled some others from this puzzle run, but this is now the last of these puzzles that you will see me listing at auction.
This puzzle has now been painstakingly completed from its original parts to be in prefect working order, and all of the original issues have also been fully addressed. It is now in exceptional condition in every way.
When you reconstruct a puzzle design from scratch, you can see into the soul of its designer, and this is such an awesome design (my favorite so far) that I am honored to have had this humbling learning experience. This will make a most fine addition to any puzzle collection.
The puzzle consists of a patchwork of 130 intertwining exotic wood pieces that have to be manipulated through a minimum of 36 steps in order to reveal its single hidden compartment. It also requires the removal of certain pieces, which are then recombined to craft a key that is used for the final step.
This puzzle is one of Robert’s more difficult puzzles to solve. It measures 3” square and comes with its own fully illustrated instruction book.
